Learning and development of a selected group of employees of a specific organisation

The diploma thesis deals with the area of learning and development of a selected group of employees in a specific organization. The aim of the thesis is to describe, analyse, and evaluate the current state of learning and development of a selected group of employees in a specific organization and to propose possible recommendations for improvement. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part of the thesis, relevant concepts from the field of andragogy, educational management and human resources management are defined in relation to the researched issue. The empirical part consists of methodology and research in the field of employee learning and development. The research is divided into partial phases that describe, analyse, and evaluate the current state of learning and development of a selected group of employees. The empirical part also includes a description of the specific organization and the definition of the selected group of employees, which consists of all employees in the position of IT Consultant IS. The topic of the diploma thesis is the management of further education of academic staff at a selected faculty, a part of a university-type university. The aim of the work is to analyze and describe the management system of continuing education of academic staff and to propose improvements in this area. The diploma thesis contains a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part is based on professional literature and deals with the concepts: university, academic worker, lifelong education, adult education, further professional education, corporate education. In the chapter entitled Universities and academic staff we will find the history, meaning and characteristics of universities, clarification of the term academic staff and a description of the competences of a university pedagogue. Intercultural differences in management in childcare facilities

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the management of selected organizations providing care for young children in terms of intercultural differences in the management style and principles of their managers from the majority society. The analysis is based primarily on the work of Geert Hofstede and Robert House, who revealed the sociological phenomenon of cultural dimensions. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to an analysis of the current legislative framework for the provision of early childhood education in Czech Republic and the position and role of the school or non-profit organization director as a manager. Special attention is paid to the concept of intercultural management as a specific area of people management and the basic theories of cultural dimensions of Geert Hofstede and Robert House are discussed, including the framing of the whole situation in the context of the Czech social and cultural environment. The diploma thesis focuses on the area of strategic management of a selected educational organization, which is a vocational school. In the theoretical part of the diploma thesis, attention is paid to the theoretical basis, that is the field of education, management in a broader context and strategic management with specifics in education. The diploma thesis also focuses on the selected educational organization and its characteristics, and the general specifics of special schools. Educational management of pedagogical staff

The diploma thesis analyzes the current problems associated with further education of pedagogical staff in the capital city of Prague. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts, characterizes the current system of education, new trends in further education of teachers and provides an overview of further education in some EU countries. The practical part evaluates the results of a research survey, which includes the analysis and comparison of data obtained from structured interviews, questionnaires and annual reports of schools. Problems in further education of pedagogical staff, its quality, method of implementation and factors that affect it are, among other things, assessed with regard to the specific needs of teachers for working with pupils with special educational difficulties. Talent management in secondary education in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the topic of talent management in relation to teaching staff in second- ary education in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to describe its current state and to find out how talented teachers are cared for in Czech secondary schools and how princi- pals perceive talented teachers and talent management. The thesis defines and puts into context the concepts of teaching staff, teacher stand- ard, talented teacher, talent and giftedness as well as talent management. A newly developed definition of a talented educator is also included. The specifics description of the Czech schools' environment for the talent management implementation in terms of individual pro- cesses is followed by a questionnaire survey. The research results are linked to the context of Czech education and compared with the results of previous investigations of talent man- agement in Czech organisations. The care of Czech teachers is very specific from the talent management perspective. The teaching profession is demanding and Czechia lacks a functional career system and a generally accepted teacher standard. Analysis of the secondary schools optimization project in the town of Varnsdorf

The subject of the thesis is to analyze the optimization of secondary schools in Varnsdorf from procedures of the preparation, negotiations and approval process, to its realization. There search is based on data obtained through two of qualitative research methods: Participatory observation Analysis of documents - artifacts The thesis conclusion is based on triangulation, the penetration of various research methods, and contains, among others, recommendations for the Ministry of Education, Department of Regional Education Offices, regional councilors, and management of schools that prepare optimization projects. Particular attention is given to the impact of the optimization on the College and Secondary School in Varnsdorf.

Management education of giften children in the Czech republic

A goal of my dissertation is to find out current educational conditions of gifted children in Czech Republic. What legislative, financial and methodological proceedings of state policy influence education of talented children and their possible impact on schools. Another aim is to verify how important this educational field is attributed by headmasters at primary schools and what helps or complicates introducing methodical education of gifted pupils. The dissertation contains of three parts. The first one is theoretical which acquaints readers with educational field of talented children in the Czech Republic in sphere of legislative, including the glance abroad. Second part is an empirical questionnaire survey, based on interview detecting conditions for education of exceptionally gifted children at primary schools. It focuses on headmasters, their motivating, educating and evaluating of teachers and what advantages for school it brings. Another goal is to find out possibilities and differences in financing the work with talented children in particular regions. On the basis of established data is created a manual, which could help headmasters to introduce methodical education of gifted pupils. The manual is drawn up as a gradual successive approach.

Intergenerational programs in the practice of educational institutions

The thesis is focused on the possibilities in the management of the intergenerational programmes. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the issue of intergenerational learning from the point of view of the management of educational institutions and to create a proposal of methodology for intergenerational programs management. The first part discusses the management in general, educational management and the characterization and classification of educational institutions and the scope of non-profit organizations. It also deals with lifelong learning and defines intergenerational learning as one of its forms. It deals with the categorization of intergenerational learning and the definition of its linkage in formal, non-formal and informal learning. The work defines the concept of age management, describes its implementation in practice and focuses on the topic of intergenerational programs, their specification, categorization and definition of their benefits and risks. Further teacher's education in the area of digital skills from the perspective of educational management

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of further education of teachers in the field of digital competencies from the perspective of educational management. This subject was chosen not only of its topicality, but also due to the strategic dimension of further education of teachers and their digital skills, which reflect the key documents of MŠMT. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis focuses on theses related to educational management, further education of teachers and ends with a chapter dealing with digital competencies. The research part of the diploma thesis pays attention to the offer and demand of further education of teachers and the reflection of digital competencies of teachers through qualitative research and data analysis. Specifically, the research survey consists of semi- structured interviews conducted with primary school teachers in the capital city of Prague, analysis of data from the Teacher's digital competences framework and analysis of selected websites collecting the offer of further education of teachers.
